About The Doctor...

Roy A. Wilson, O.D.was raised in Redford Township and graduated from Thurston High School.  He is a graduate of the Ferris State University College of Optometry, Class of 1988.

Dr. Wilson returned to the metropolitan area to complete his internship at the Optometric Institute and Clinic of Detroit.  He remained on staff at the Optometric Institute as a clinical instructor. Dr. Wilson was one of the first optometrists in Michigan to be board certified in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease.

Since his graduation, the doctor has practiced in several different optometric settings including a HMO, a group practice, and with an ophthalmologist.  He prefers private practice where personal care and patient satisfaction are the number one priority.
